Report from the Memoira camp Hello folks! It's been quite some time from the last update so here we go!
We have had a lot of time to write and arrange some new songs. Jemina is going to do some of the remaining vocals this Sunday and the others will head down to the rehearsal place to arrange some stuff for a new one...damn it's going to be another long song. So far we got only one epic long song and a bunch of solid 4/5 min asskickings.
OH YEAH! And since the songwriting is almost done we are taking the new material on stage too!
On 12th of December we will be doing a show in Bar & Night Vaakuna right here in Pori, Finland! I was told that Jani is bringing a camera crew there and the shot material would be used for our next music video! Nothing confirmed though!
We have also confirmed some other shows that will be posted here as well

We like to thank everyone who voted us in the competition Garage Countdown. we got our music video "Liberation " out on full version trough the biggest music media on Finland. At first I would like to remind all of you about the video contest on Voice.
It is on again. So keep on voting us weekly!!!
We were 2nd on first week (huge credit belongs to you). That’s great, but I know you can do better.
Hope that some week Memoira will be at pole position of this race.
Some live-action is scheduled on march. First on Friday 13th there is Sounds Like Pori-contest at Vaakuna, Pori(surprise). There will be a shout-voting, so prepare your throat to give us a loud vote!!!
Then there were some rumours that we would do a show at Luvia…
Last time we were there, (as Serene) it was a real “journey”…

Allllrighttt.... so what is going on ?
Memoira Music video "Liberation" is "out there" on USA music TV Rocknation and in Finnish Music TV site called the VOICE and in there on competition called Garage Countdown. Here is direct Link to it. You can check the video from there and try to Vote it =) so we can stay in the TOP 5 every week and mabe win the whole competition. If some week it hits on the TOP 5 to number one we get it to show on Finland music TV number one wich is The VOICE tv. Wich is HUGE thing here in Finland. The voteing is on every week so if u can vote it then vote it, remember to vote it everyweek. about European release...
We hitted to a minor bumb with Europan release as we tryed to hook up with one of the biggest company in Europe but unfortunatly this didnt happen but it was defenetly worth it because now they know us and somethign good is coming on our way later. Anyway the European release is happening in start of year 2009. We will add the information to our site later "How to order and from where". At the moment you can order it from CD baby, Amazon, nightmare-records and many other places . Portugal is on the list now too and slowly we have distribution going on in every country. And yes you can go to your local CD store and ask them to order it no matter where you are from.
Memoira is also updating memoira.net site soon and adding here a forum by the request of fans. STILL pls try to send all fan mail to memoiraband(at)gmail.com. Once in a month we are adding TOP 5 best feedback to our site and also the Memoira Gig diarys and lots of other stuff. Memoira.net has over 5000 unique visitors per month what is AWESOME and pushes us forward so spam spam spam our site and spread the news of memoira. At this point we really want to thank you our diar fans for your great support and love. Without you we would be lost and all this would be pointless.
And so, usually every TV or Movie leaves an end and watcher to wait for next episode or sequal... so do we =) ...next Memoira music video is being shooted piece by piece as you read this =) and it's from the song... =) ...hehee... wont tell yet... and also material of next album is starting to get their perfect Memoira shape.
What comes to next year gig's we cant wait... =) If all goes good many of you will see us soon. But remember... that depends still on you too.
We are sorry to announce that the European release date had to pushed a little bit further. USA release date holds (August 19th) but
European release date is set to end of September for reasons that we at the moment cannot announce but they are very very good news
to us all. So don't worry a thing, it will come out soon.
Hmmm...what else..oh yeah. Nightclub Vaakuna gig what was suppose to be in August 16th has been also canceled cause of this and is re-set to September.
HELL sinki webcast. We can now confirm that the October 9th show at the Virgin oil co ( Not in tavastia ) in Helsinki, Finland with Ava inferi www.myspace.com/avainferi will now be streamed at www.floobs.com more info about show times will be added to this same site closer to october.
Memoira is also shooting lots of material for incoming video but atm we ain't releasing more info on that =)
Finally we can officially announce that long waited album has a world wide release date. Memoira went to studio to work on first album in the end of 2007 and in the beginning of 2008 started to work with Lance King as an executive producer naturally leading to a release with his label Nightmare Records.
The live section has been filled with gigs which at the moment still are in Finland, but fear not, that is going to be changed. More gigs will be added as we confirm dates.
Album ordering info will be added later to here, official Memoira site as well as to Nightmare Records own sites. Lots and lots of more info will be posted as we move towards to release date. In mean while, enjoy the samples and lyrics on myspace.

... so we have to apologize for the already delayed release date. Memoira is going back to studio to record one song more for the album. This will take 1 month more to get everything recorded and mixed. The album was lacking a proper ending track and it was a bit too short to be a full length album. World wide release date will be announced as soon as the final track is recorded and mixed. That was a long 2 weeks as we promised updates and samples from the album inside 2 weeks 1month ago. Nothing new to us tho, when there should be clear beatiful day with rainbows and happy blue birds, we get rain like it was doomsday knocking on our door.

Memoira is now also in myspace ( www.myspace.com/memoira ), where you can find the samples from our soon coming album. You can also find the samples on the site in discography section. The new album cover is also ready and can be found at the discography section.

Finally the long wait is over and the new Memoira website is open!
As you know we have been busy little rascals working our hands to bruises with our soon coming album. The release date for the album is hitting at the start of February, however the samples of the album can be found in the Discography section within two weeks. Promotional gigs will kick in at the middle of January. Details can be found the the Live section.
